Introduction
We have not and cannot love God or our neighbor perfectly. Where did this sinful guilty nature come from?
Man was made good and also we were made in the image of God. God is the opposite of sin.
Sin and misery came from the fall and the disobedience of our first parents. Our own sinful nature wants to blame God. Mans sin is on us not God. It doesn’t even fall on satan. It is on us.
Romans 5:12 (NKJV) Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–
Genesis 5:3 (NKJV) And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot [a son] in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
Ephesians 2:1-2 ~ NASB1995 “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.”
Very alive in sin but not in righteousness. The doctrine of original sin. The transmission of Adam and Eves sin to us. The guilt of the whole human race.
